SAM BOLIVAR, Designer

Samuel's conception of a great design involves a creative process that is best defined by the perfect balance of ingenuity and functionality. With a background and training as an Engineer fused with a passion for design and aesthetics, Samuel has developed expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and installations. Integrating the latest software used by designers, Samuel has full fluency and dexterity using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator and Photoshop. Samuel's portfolio of various projects include residential spaces, model homes, country clubs, hotels and restaurants. At P[four] Samuel specializes in constructing homogeneous layouts with special emphasis on the practical use of the space.

 

 

LYNN MYCK, Senior Stylist

After graduation from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Lynn Myck honed her design skills and eye for detail at Crate & Barrel. Working her way up from Sales Associate to manager, Lynn was chosen by the President of Design to open the first Land Of Nod Children's store and CB2, both affiliates of Crate & Barrel. She furthered her career in retail design at Arhaus Furniture where she was responsible for all marketing displays and the store appearance, and was selected for the nation-wide store opening team. From there, Lynn moved to Dallas, Texas and founded the successful Savvy Living Group. She has managed a multitude of different types of projects such as model home staging, freshening up a room, designing a custom home, overhauling an entire kitchen and bath, and organizing the downsizing of a home. Lynn thrives on coordinating all aspects of each project, including collaborating with architects, contractors and clients during the creative process on everything from selecting finishes, architectural elements, custom furniture, and window treatments, to setting up travel arrangements for the client's move. Lynn believes the best compliment she can receive is a referral, which is a sure sign of client satisfaction.

 

 

JAN McELHENEY, Senior Stylist

 

Jan attributes her innate ability to design, create, organize and experiment  to her artistic parents, her love for travel and fearless curiosity. From an early age she recalls pushing furniture around, sewing window treatments and bedding and experimenting with mixing colors and pattern. Her calming design style is strongly influenced by her time spent enjoying the colors. textures and lifestyles of Southern California and  the Mediterranean Sea.

Restoring a true classic’s timeless beauty is a specialty of Daisy’s that adds a thriving element to her design. With a Masters from Corcoran College of Art and Design, Daisy has an incredible eye for detail that her clients have come to rely on when developing the ideal environment for their home. Daisy’s experience working with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History has granted her undeniable craftsmanship in the art of restoration. Breathing new life into elements that would otherwise be left to spoil adds priceless value to Daisy’s designs.

SHAWN EVANS, Principal/Owner

Shawn Evans is known as a sales and marketing authority and consummate professional. He boasts more than 19 years experience in marketing, sales, and management in high-level positions with National non-profit organizations and Fortune 500 companies. 

Shawn started P Four after leaving Pulte Homes as Vice President of Del Webb for the Mid-Atlantic Division. Del Webb is recognized as the premier brand in active adult communities. Under Shawns’ leadership the communities he oversaw were awarded Active Adult Community of the Year, Active Adult Clubhouse of the Year, Best Green Marketing Campaign and numerous other Regional and National awards. 

 

Prior to his Del Webb role, Shawn served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Pulte Homes, Mid-Atlantic Division, where he was responsible for increasing Pulte’s market share. He also served on Pulte’s National Sales Council setting the course for sales and marketing activities nationally and worked on developing Pulte’s national sales training curriculum. Shawn is recognized for recruiting, developing, and retaining a nationally recognized sales team including the 2007 NAHB National Salesperson of the year.

 

Shawn is a highly recognized new home sales professional having sold more than $200 million in real estate. He has received numerous sales and marketing achievement awards, including being named the Overall Salesperson of the Year for the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.

JILL MASTROSTEFANO, Creative Director/Lead Designer

Jill Mastrostefano has nearly 20 years experience in interior design and merchandising. Jill served as the East Region Director of Interior Merchandising for Pulte Homes. In this role, she was responsible for designing and installing hundreds of award-winning model homes, sales environments and clubhouses. 

 

Prior to Pulte Homes, Jill was the Senior Designer for Louis Tyler Creative Services, a nationally recognized interior merchandising firm. In addition, she worked for Lascaris Design Group, an international interior design firm specializing in grand scale residences worldwide. Jill holds a degree in Interior Design and has 8 years experience as a visual merchandiser for Crate & Barrel.

ASHLEY SICHER, Senior Designer

Ashley Sicher, a Bel Air, MD native now residing in the Washington D.C.  area has turned her passion for interior design into a blossoming career. Graduating with honors from Marymount University, Ashley applies her unique set of skills and keen eye for design into every project. Ashley’s ability to conceptualize as well as her experience as a hands–on designer have made her a true team player and important asset to PFour.  Everything from working with the latest in design software such as AutoCAD to creating original artwork and assisting in installations, Ashley is a valuable resource throughout every step of the project.

 

KAREN FARNSWORTH, Design Assistant

A graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Communications, Karen Farnsworth began her career and continues with a love of visual composition. Through her work in the press office at The National Gallery of Art and television production, to over 20 years in the home furnishings field and personally in landscape design, she has always strived to bring a cohesive and balanced message in every visual presentation she has been involved with. With PFour she is interested in contributing to the overall signature style of its lead designer through work in the studio and on site in homes. During implementation of projects she uses both spontaneous creativity and an ability to effectively execute a planned installation. Along with her 7 years of work with PFour and her simultaneous 10 years of work in staging homes for sale and selling home furnishings has given her the skills to efficiently and innately understand what the client or potential customer finds appealing, editing the unnecessary and striving for simple beauty. She always leaves a project saying "I want to live here!".
